PRODUCTION AREA: Acquaviva delle Fonti, Puglia
SOIL: Clay loam soil with limestone blocks
VINE-TRAINING SYSTEM: Spur-pruned cordon
PLANTS PER HECTARE: 4300
PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 7 tons
HARVEST: Mechanical harvest during the second half of September
VINIFICATION: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature
AGING: 5 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15% vol.

TASTING NOTES

SIGHT: Ruby red colour with bright purple reflections
NOSE: Intense aroma of cherry, plum and blackberry, delicately woven with notes of violet, myrtle and blood orange
PALATE: Full and fresh sip with fine tannins well integrated into the texture of the wine. Long finish, with notes of prune, fig, wild herbs, and red citrus fruit
