TYPE OF SOIL: Red iron soil, characterised by an underlying layer of limestone
GROWING METHOD: Spur pruned cordon

PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 7 tons
GRAPE GATHERING: Manual harvest in boxes during the second half of October
VINIFICATION: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature
AGING: 24 months in stainless steel tanks and 12 months in the bottle
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% vol.

TASTING NOTES

SIGHT: Deep purple-red with ruby reflections
NOSE: Dens and elegant nose with scents of blackberry, black cherry, plum and violet. Enhanced by balsamic notes recalling liquorice and leather
PALATE: Clean and austere, sustained by strong tannins and bold freshness. Remarkably long finish, with echoes and aromatic herbs
