PRODUCTION AREA: Monteschiavo Vineyards, Acquaviva delle Fonti
SOIL: Very deep soil with silty clay loam
Vine training system: Guyot
Plants per hectare: 4300
Production per hectare: 7 Tons
HARVEST: Mechanical harvest conducted during the last week of September
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Maceration with grape skins for about 6 days. Gentle pressing of the grapes.
AGING: 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 3 months in the bottle
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.5% vol.

Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE: Golden color with orange flashes
NOSE: Enchanting aroma of acacia, chamomile, gillyflower, and elder, enhanced with notes of peach syrup and lightly spiced tea
PALATE: Full, long, and velvety on the palate, balanced by a smooth freshness, lean sapidity, and a trace of light astringency. A persistent finish with echoes of quince, peaches, and almonds
