  • SOIL: Red iron soil, characterized by an underlying layer of limestone
  • Vine training system: Spur-pruned cordon
  • Plants per hectare: 4300
  • Production per hectare: 6 tons
  • HARVEST: Manual harvest during the first ten days of September
  • Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
  • AGING: 4 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in bottle
  • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15% vol.

Tasting Notes

  • APPEARANCE: Intense ruby red color with amaranth highlights
  • NOSE: Interesting hints of cherry, plum, and violet, then touches of licorice root and dark chocolate
  • PALATE: Good structure with velvety tannins and pleasant freshness
