  • GRAPES: Primitivo 100%
  • SOIL: Red iron soil, characterized by an underlying layer of limestone
  • Vine training system: 80-year-old bush vines
  • Plants per hectare: 8000
  • Production per hectare: 4 tons
  • HARVEST: Manual harvest during the first decade of September
  • Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature
  • AGING: 2 years in stainless steel tanks and 2 years in the bottle
  • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 16.5% vol.

Tasting Notes

  • APPEARANCE: Magnificent carmine red garnet color
  • NOSE: Great bouquet of ripe cherry, dried rose and dark orange, with aromas of balsamic herbs, bark, pink pepper and graphite
  • PALATE: Elegant and silky in the mouth, with well-defined tannins and a fresh, long and exciting finish.
