Description

  • VARIETY: Blend of native red grape varieties including Aglianico, Bombino Nero, Negroamaro, Nero di Troia, and Primitivo
  • PRODUCTION AREA: Contrada “Montevella” located in the Acquaviva delle Fonti area
  • SOIL TYPE: Deep soil composed of loam and light clays
  • TRAINING SYSTEM: Spurred cordon
  • HARVEST: Hand-picked, in crate during the last week of August / first week of September
  • VINIFICATION: Soft pressing of the grapes with brief maceration in a press, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature
  • EFFERVESCENCE: Second fermentation in bottle and subsequent aging on the lees for at least 36 months
  • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 11% ABV

  • APPEARANCE: Bright coral pink, enriched by generous perlage
  • AROMA: On the nose, intense aromas of rose petal, raspberry and cherry joined by hints of pink grapefruit, with a pastry background
