PRODUCTION AREA: Vineyard 'Marchesana', Gioia del Colle, Puglia
SOIL: Red iron soil, characterized by an underlying layer of limestone
Vine training system: Spur-pruned cordon
PLANTS PER HECTARE: 4300
PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 9 tons
HARVEST: Mechanical harvest during the first week of September
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
AGING: 24 months in stainless steel tanks and 12 months in bottle
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14% vol.

Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE: Deep ruby red with violet highlights
NOSE: Intense aroma of dark fruits (blackberry, sour cherry, ripe cherry) with delicate notes of flowers (violet) and herbs (mint).
PALATE: Full, long, and velvety, ending with hints of almond.
