SOIL TYPE: Iron-red soil with a layer of limestone rock beneath
Training system: A bush vine about 70 years old

PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 20–30 hl
HARVEST: Manual harvest of the grapes in crates during the first and second week of September
Maceration: For 4 weeks
FERMENTATION: In stainless steel tanks for 4 weeks at a temperature of 25°C
MATURATION: 24 months in stainless steel tanks and one year in bottle

Tasting Notes

APPEARANCE: Dense ruby red with violet reflections
AROMA: Elegant aromas of small black fruits (blackberry, red mulberry, amarena, and Ferrovia cherry) and delicate floral notes (violet), with a background of aromatic herbs, licorice, and graphite
TASTE: It bursts onto the palate with a very long, silky texture and superb retronasal echoes. Supported by tannins of excellent workmanship. A very rich and interminable finish
